As in the post about making a delicious caipirinha before the celebrations gets started, here’s a post about making a delicious Strawberry Daiquiri – before the party starts. You can make this recipe up to 3 days ahead of the party.
This way you can get a Strawberry Daiquiri which is close to the optimum. Many have a passion to get their frozen daiquiri – ie. blended with ice – and you can choose to do when it is served – but it’s not required.
Recipe for a Strawberry Daiquiri is as follows:
1 1/3 oz White rum (Here Brugal, but Havana Club 3 years would also be good)
3 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
1 oz Cane syrup (2 parts water to 1 part sugar)
2/3 oz Monin Strawberry Syrup
1 2/3 oz Monin Strawberry Pure
Pour all ingredients into a container that can be refrigerated. Eg. spring water bottle or liquor bottles, who are cleaned well. The recipe is multiplied up to match the amount you can have in the tank, and then later just to be served over ice. Then everybody, no matter how drunk, can serve a good Strawberry Daiquiri. If desired, one can blend the contents with ice just before serving – that would make it a Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri – which is sure to be a hit.
