Desperatos - Beer cocktail
Posted by Bartender BTC in Beer recipes on September 19th, 2009
Desperatos is a beer flavored with tequila - at least it says so on the bottle. But as a bartender, serving a beer isn’t that funny, so why not make a nice cocktail out of it?
Try is at home:
Inspiratos
10 cl Desperatos beer
1 cl Monin peach syrup
½ lime
½ passionsfruit
Mash passionfruit, lime and syrup in the serving glass. Then add a lot of crushed ice and beer. Its a nice fresh drink, with a fine beer taste and note, but also sweetness and exsotic fruit.

A Julep is a whiskey based cocktail, with lime, mint and sugar. It’s good as it is, but also good as a basic reciepe for other good drinks. Like this Strawberry Julep, which contain strawberry pure to add a more sweet and fruty flavor to the julep.

This is one of my favorit drink, especially then i comes to Gin. Hendrick’s Gin is, as they prodly says, not a usual gin. It’s made with among others cucumber and rose pedals. This makes it good to add cucumber to your G & T, since it really freshen up your drink.
Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic
4 cl Hendrick’s Gin
14 cl Tonic water
3 pieces of cucumber
Muddle cucumber and Hendrick’s gin a few times (not too much), and then add tonic water. Now add ice, and stirr well.
Caipiruva - a Caipirinha inspired drink
Posted by Bartender BTC in Rum recipes on September 14th, 2009
If you like a nice cold Caipirinha, I bet you would also like this one. It’s a bit more sweet than the classic Caipirinha, since there has been added white grapes to it.
